DAYS MARA / NAKURU / SAMBURU
DAY
1: NAIROBI
Arrive Nairobi. Welcome to Nairobi, Kenya's cosmopolitan capital.
Once little more than a watering hole for Masai tribes, today's
Nairobi is the largest city between Cairo and Johannesburg.If
arrival is in the morning, then in the we drive to Karen Von Blixen's
former home, now a museum. Continue to the Giraffe Center where
you can feed and photograph giraffe from an elevated platform. Return
to the hotel early this evening.

Complimentary dinner at The Carnivore Restaurant**. Nairobi
has many restaurants offering a variety of exotic and African cuisine.
However, none beats Carnivore for its uniqueness: It is for carnivorous.
It is the only place you can get a variety of game Meat served in
one meal. Its succulent steaks and barbecue dishes are recommended
for every one especially as a welcome or a farewell Dinner/Lunch.

DAY
2: NAIROBI / MASAI MARA
Depart from Nairobi at 08.30hrs for a drive that takes you to the
Maasai Mara Game Reserve, the northern part of the Serengeti and,
one of Kenya's most favored game-viewing areas. The reserve covers
700 square miles of magnificent wilderness. It is the Africa of
the imagination; endless reaches of acacia-dotted grasslands studded
with hazy hills. Afternoon game drive to see the sundowner as well
as the Lions in large prides, Elephants, buffalos, zebras and numerous
plain animals. Dinner and overnight at the Mara
Sopa lodge or similar.
DAY
3: MASAI MARA
Full day game viewing coupled with exploring this spectacular Park.
The Mara is the and of African legend: Lion are abundant throughout
the park, as are the elephants, giraffes, and a variety of gazelle
species and zebra. Cheetah and leopard are also regularly seen and,
less commonly, rhino. The annual wildebeest migration, one of nature's
few remaining wildlife spectacles, occurs in the Mara from July
to September where the big animals and their predators are to be
present in abundance during the time frame of this trip.
Several species
of Bee-Eater, the flying rainbow that heads the list of the Mara's
birds, occur in the reserve. As well as wildlife, the Maasai Mara
is also home to many members of the colorful Maasai tribe who may
be seen round the borders of the park - Morans (warriors) loping
across the plains, young boys herding oats, or elders grouped under
a tree discussing matters of the day. All meals and overnight at

DAY
4: MASAI MARA
Morning and afternoon game drives reveals the Sunrise and sundown
as the greatest moments for game viewing in these mystic plains,
a time where the soft red hues of the sun will give your photographs
the clarity of the actual African savannah.
Morning game
viewing with a long drive to the Mara river where you will be able
to view Hippos and Crocodiles. Dinner and overnight at the Mara
Sopa lodge or similar..
DAY
5: MASAI MARA / NAKURU
A last game run in the picturesque Maasai Mara in the morning through
the Rift Valley drive to Lake Nakuru, a shallow alkaline lake in
the Rift Valley, renowned for its spectacular flamingo population
as one of the world's greatest ornithological spectacles.
Although Lake
Nakuru is primarily a bird sanctuary, there are a considerable number
of animals to be encountered, such as many large game animals such
as zebras, elephants and gazelles; this is one of your best chances
of seeing rhinos. Lake Nakuru National Park was the first place
in Kenya selected as a rhino reserve. Here is one of the few places
where you can see Rothschild's giraffes. Dinner and overnight at
the Lake Nakuru lodge. or

DAY
6: NAKURU / SAMBURU
Depart Nairobi at 09.30 hrs and drive Northwards to Samburu Game
Reserve. A brief stop over at Thompson Falls. Drive to Mt. Kenya
region and through cultivations of coffee and pineapple to the Lodge
for lunch. Afternoon game drive in Samburu National Reserve. Dinner
and overnight at Samburu Serena
lodge or similar.
DAY
7: SAMBURU
Full day spent in Samburu with early morning and afternoon game
drives in Samburu Game Reserve, which covers 40 square miles (104
square kilometers). Ololokwe Table Mountain forms a dramatic backdrop
to our game viewing. Samburu is also home to the third of Kenya's
giraffe species - the rare Reticulated Giraffe (only found in the
Northern parks).
This is also
our best chance to see the blue-legged Somali Ostrich, the long-necked
Gerenuk gazelle and the straight-horned Beisa Oryx antelope. Dinner
and overnight at the lodge.
DAY
8: SAMBURU / NAIROBI
After breakfast, depart for Nairobi with enroute
game drive to arrive later in the evening. Transfer to Airport
